The Music Society of Port Elizabeth will be hosting yet again, another concert that is sure to leave you amazed. The concert will take place in the Nelson Mandela University’s South Campus Auditorium, Thursday 16 August 2018, at 19h30.


There will be participants between the ages 10 and 70 & will include a variety of music genres. The Nelson Mandela University’s String Ensemble, led by lead violinist David Bester, will be performing Concerto Grosso by Arcangelo Corelli and more performances from the Nelson Mandela University Music students, Joshua Bussy, Berenice Pretorius and Lara Potgieter.

The evening will present many other performances such as, Westring High school’s singing girl group, ‘Treble Tonez’, Summerwood Primary School’s, ‘Asylum for the Sane’, Pearson teacher Tanya Leurquain joined by our own Sonya Leuquain-Steyn and a performance from Collegiate teachers, Nicolette Fyvie, Liske Hemingway and Grant Snyman. Professor Langpiet de Villiers will also be rendering a performance.

Tickets will be available at the door with, R95 for Adults, R80 for Pensioners, R40 for Students & R35 for Scholars.
